Andy Bloch

Biography
Andy was always playing card games with his friends and family, and winning. He played a little poker with friends, but he didn't get serious about poker until after he graduated from MIT with two electrical engineering degrees in 1992.

Andrew Bloch started playing some small $35 weekly tournaments at Foxwoods, making the 2-hour trip sometimes once a month. And by the end of the year, his name was on the winner's board.

Andy tried to capitalize on poker's popularity and joined up with other top pros including Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson, Phil Gordon, and Phil Ivey, in representing the new on-line poker site called Full Tilt Poker.

Andy is also an extremely skilled Blackjack card counter, though he focuses mainly on playing Poker nowadays.

Andrew Bloch was once a member of the now famous MIT Blackjack team, who made a lot of money beating the casinos at Blackjack in the 1990s. Andy estimated he had earned "six figures" counting cards.
