The Calcutta, India native was one of the original 25 million-plus money winners to be featured on special World
Championship poker chips.
But now he's getting even more face-time in the poker world thanks to his season two star turns on the World Poker Tour.
Mel Judah learned to play poker by watching his dad, whom he calls one of his greatest personal influences. He believes
that patience and changing gears are the key skills that make a great tournament player.
Mel Judah is a former ladies' hairdresser & he has been in the money at the World Championships more than 34 times. Those
victories include the top finish in 7-card stud in both 1989 and 1997, and finishing third to Stu Ungar in the 1997 main
event.
